ZGOMOT (2025)
"Zgomot is when many people speak at the same time in one place; one says this, another says that… Instead, we should be quiet and listen to the one who is speaking." (Mamaia, 2025)
In the work Zgomot -the Romanian word for noise, sound, and tumult- I bring my grandmother’s voice close through conversations, field recordings, and listening exercises. In an interactive installation of radios, her surroundings resonate, alternated with fragmented memories.
By turning the tuner as a viewer, you decide what becomes audible and what disappears into the noise. In one of the radios, I invite you to become temporarily part of the work yourself, with personal stories and sounds. Listening thus becomes a form of slowing down, observing, and remembering. It creates a space to capture voices, environments, and oral histories; sounds that would otherwise be lost in the noise of daily life.

There Is a Green in My Screen (2024)
In a humorous and interactive way, the website ‘There Is A Green In My Screen’ turns digital annoyances into an experience. A green screen is taken outside where it enters into a dialogue with the environment and gets its own persona. The banality and playfulness in these images and an uploaded version of the maker, in which the viewer is taken along by poems, in an intuitive search for the bridge between the digital and physical space.

Do you remember the good old birthday circles? Slices of cheese and sausage, flags, “hiep hiep hoera”? Artist collective Eye hosts a progressive musical playground in the setting of a dystopian circle birthday.
“Eye, Eye, Eye en we zijn zo blij, iedereen is jarig en dat vieren wij!” In 2024 everyone has a birthday and that is why we are throwing a party that you cannot miss.

voices, leaking tabs and slammed trash can lids, discomfort becomes physical.
In Between Junctures I search for the dividing line between reality and the staged. I invite you to experience a public moment with yourself in a bathroom from memory.
